What does it take to bein ICT students

                

          ICT is an acronym that stands for Information Communications Technology. ICT covers any product that will store, retrieve, manipulate, transmits or receives information electronically in a digital form. Since student’s performance is mainly explained by a student’s characteristics, educational environment and teachers’ characteristics, ICT may have an impact on these determinants and consequently the outcome of education.

           The differences observed in students’ performance are thus more related to the differentiated .First quarter- we started making and working on our bloggers I also experienced being a leader for the first time. Second quarter- in this quarter is more exciting than the past because we focused on tags. We used the notepad for our hands–on activities. We knew about the two types of tags, the stand-alone tag and the container tag. In applying each tag, we should be very careful so that the effect we wanted to see in our text would be powerful. I enjoyed our hands-on activities because I know that I did all the activities given to us with all my effort and thank God I finished all of them on time. Third quarter- This quarter is more exciting than the two previous grading because we made our web design

MY DREAM ,MY FUTURE

              I have undergone many challenges of being a student. I am just a simple student today but have a big dream of becoming a successful civil engineer someday. I know it’s hard to reach it but I have my hard work and perseverance as my tools. After leaving elementary life, where I have learned the most basic things in life, high school life embraced us with open arms. I have met new friends and created memories together with them, the ones who accompany me through sadness and happiness,

           

              My dream is my future. We need to listen to our hearts and to our mind what is the best for us. Dreaming of what we want in the future is part of our life; we are not complete without this. Dreaming of the things we want make us happy and be contended in life, even though it is hard to achieve. But still we are trying to achieve it for our future and to make it true because it is our dream.

My dream in life is to have a beautiful and good life. I want to have a happy and very exciting life in the future. I want to give my family a nice and very happy life. I have a lot of dreams in life and I want that these dreams will become true. Our dreams depend on how we treasure it and how to achieve it.If somebody want to achieve all of his/her dreams, he/she must have a determination and strength.

Change:it starts with me

      One thing that we cannot escape in life is CHANGE. In today's society we are experiencing poverty, pollution, graft and corruption, crimes and many more. Why is it that we are experiencing this kind of problems? Is it because of poor governance?  Is it because of the wrong doings of the people? or Is it because of corrupt officials? Whatever or whoever it maybe, what matters most is that we have to do something in order to make a change for the betterment of our country. We should act now, be the solution to these kinds of problems.

      Don't wait others to make it because we, ourselves, can make a change.. As the saying goes "Ako ang magsisimula ng pagbabago". The change that we are seeking starts with us. If we start change in ourselves then our family, community, city, province and country will also go through it.
The change we want for the country can happen now, and it can start from us. Get up, don't rest in your own world, act now and be the start of change.

Kannawidan: Ylocos Festival

           Vigan Philippines which is located in Ilocos Sur Province, is famous for the old massive stonewalls and Spanish brick houses which date back to the Spanish colonization period. The old city of Vigan lies north of Manila and can be reached by bus. Travel time can take from eight to twelve hours depending on how heavy the traffic is going out of Manila.


          Vigan City Philippines is all set for the week-long Kannawidan Ilocos Annual Festival slated for January 31 to February 6.
          Vigan City Philippines which is located in Ilocos Sur Province, is famous for the old massive stonewalls and Spanish brick houses which date back to the Spanish colonization period. The Kannawidan Ilocos Festival will be held in front of Provincial Capitol Hall and Quadrangle, Plaza Salcedo, Plaza Encarnacion and President Quirino Stadium. Through this Kannawidan Ilocos Festival, an Iloco term which means feast of all heritages, practices and products in Ilocos Sur, they will showcase and promote their old customs, traditions, culture and products to strengthen their demands.
          The Kannawidan Ilocos Festival commemorates the founding of the province of Ilocos Sur and showcases the old costumes, traditions and culture of Ilocanos. The week-long festival aims to preserve and sustain the old traditions, attractive products and products of the Ilocanos, as well as promote the local tourism industry

Keeping in mind our Mother Tongue

           In the Bible, the descendants of Noah for reaching heaven began to build the Babel of Tower in the plain of Shinar in Babylonia. Alarmed God prevented the venture by confusing the speech of the people and scattered them throughout the world.

In the Qu’ran it is said, “Each apostle we have sent has spoken only in the language of his own people, so that he might make plain to them his message.”A language is not merely for speaking and listening to, it must, if it is to fulfill functions fully, be written and read. The Chinese are very proud and fond of their logograph. Six months back when I visited China, I requested for a poem praising the Chinese language. At the time of the farewell, I was given three poems. My Chinese teacher in Dhaka gave me another poem. All were in praise of Chinese logograph. It is no wonder that many an elder and conservative Chinese still pine for pre-reform Chinese logograph.

         “If you have script then your language will be alive. You will be alive as long your religion is in existence. You will be lost when you lose your script, language and religion.

Responding to Climate Change

 As a factor in the natural environment, climate not only affects world patterns of vegetation, soils, and water resources, but also directly or indirectly influences every human endeavor. Climate determines an area's suitability for settlement and for agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, and other economic activities. Knowledge of past climate fluctuation has helped to explain ice ages,changes in sea level,famines and migration .Increasing evidence indicates that human impact on the environment is causing local and perhaps world wide changes in climate.                                                                               The elements of climate chance through time as well as from place to place. Indirect evidence of climatic trends in the distant post is revealed in fossils, lake and ocean beds, peat bogs, glacial deposits, and soils. Archaeological remains and written history offer clues to climatic conditions during the human era, and modern instrument records now provide direct evidence of climate change. :)

                       We are now living in a world full of new discoveries, and as days go by, people continue to unfold and discover more things which were not known and does not exist before. Different things or inventions that will help us attain greater heights and even impossible things. However, all of these will not work without the help of Science(Chemistry) in fusion with mankind. If science alone can help us in making things work, what more  when we work together with it especially Chemistry.
